Pink Old Ladies....(repost)

Just wanted to share these beautiful Victorians one more time. Todays post theme, Pink Old Ladies ...ha! Was it what you expected? These georgous, stately old gals were a grand discovery in Buffalo this week. many were getting prepped and gussied up for the world's most beautiful garden tour. The Buffalo Garden Walk is an annual event that takes place the last weekend of every July. The gardens are breath taking manifestations of the resident's imaginations coming to life. Visitors decend from all over the world to walk and view and beyond, more about that when I return to view them in late July.

Deliver some Mother's Day Surprises

Mini cupcake are just plain cute! Only a couple bites to leave you satisfied, plus they're so fun to create and decorate.Packaging them up can be easy by going to a party store that sells inexpensive  to go boxes for mini cupcakes.  This week, why not make some to celebrate the moms at work , teachers , a local food pantry to tuck some into food baskets.. or send 1/2 a dozen around to your neighbors...I plan to make several dozen and deliver them to the "unexpecting" moms I know.
                                  Happy Mother's Day!! Huggs!!

Hey Cleveland!

Cleveland Today! An ongoing, work of beauty in progress
Today's pics are about places in my town..Cleveland. Think you know Cleveland? Look again. Those old jokes and nicknames about the industrial, steel making cities of the Northeast; Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Buffalo.. have been put to rest.
Often we take our cities for granted and there is so much beauty to recognize and appreciate.

Severence Hall, one of the World's most beautiful concert halls, displays several design styles inside, from Classic to Modern to Art Deco and still provides state of the art sound quality for the concert goers enjoyment! A tribute to the many decades of patrons who continue to see the need for generous support.
